Scenario
You work as “Research Assistant” in a research firm, McLeod and Partners, which performs different types of research for their clients. One of the clients ( your workplace or an organization of your choice) is interested in getting a research report, dealing with different issues and challenges that may arise out of equality and diversity in the workplace and what measures could be taken to manage them?
TASK A
In a research report, you must include the following :
- A detailed overview about chosen organization;
- Aims and objectives of the projects;
- Develop an appropriate project management plan (with WBS) to meet objectives and time frames(Gantt's Chart)
- Detailed and evaluate the methodology you are using for research;
- Produce primary and secondary research (questionnaire and interview) to gain knowledge.
- Evaluate the data and findings using analytical tools and draw conclusions to form the basis for suggestion.
- Present and produce project in an appropriate manner.
- Frame recommendation in an precise manner.
TASK B
In part B, show success of project and your own performance in a personal performance review.
The reflection must address the following :
- What was the project suppose to complete?
- Did the project meet the aims? Outline any evaluation and assessment undertaken.
- What things goes right and why?
- Any problems engaged in the project and how were they overcome? Was there timely identification and resolution during the project process?
- How can you rate your performance as project manager.
TASK C
Present 10 minutes power point presentation covering all the relevant points of research report (Part A) including conclusion and recommendation.
TASK D
Create a “ Project Log Book” as part of research report.
